01 / Who Ari Is
Brooklyn, NY
Licensed & Insured NYC Construction Company
A Full-Service Construction Company for Brooklyn Properties
Ari Painting & Construction Corp. is a Brooklyn construction company providing general contracting, remodeling, renovation and painting for residential and commercial properties across New York City.
Ari coordinates multiple trades under one contract, so demolition, framing, drywall, carpentry, flooring, masonry and finish painting run to one schedule with one point of contact. Most of the work is heavier than a repaint: gut renovations in pre-war apartments, kitchen and bathroom rebuilds in brownstones, and interior fit-outs for offices, retail units and restaurants.
Small jobs are welcome too. A patched ceiling, a replaced door or a single room gets the same written scope as a whole-floor project. The difference is the estimating path, not the standard of work.

Three Service Divisions Under One Contractor
Ari runs three service divisions: construction, remodeling and renovation, and painting. Each has its own crews and scope sheets, with Ari acting as the general contractor across all three.
Construction
Ari’s construction division handles structural and rough work: demolition, framing, drywall and plaster, carpentry, flooring, masonry and full commercial build-outs.
Load-bearing questions, partition changes, subfloor conditions and fire-rated assemblies get resolved here, with a registered design professional brought in when the scope requires one.

- Commercial Construction
Remodeling & Renovation
Ari’s remodeling division rebuilds kitchens, bathrooms, basements and whole apartments, sequencing demolition, rough trades, finishes and punch list on one schedule.
These jobs come with local constraints: narrow stairs, shared walls, co-op and landlord rules, and buildings where existing conditions are not what the drawings say. Ari plans around occupied units, protected floors and daily work windows.

- Apartment Renovation
- Basement Renovation
- Bathroom Remodeling
- Home Renovation
- Commercial Remodeling
Painting
Ari’s painting division covers interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses, including surface preparation, drywall repair and finish work on walls, ceilings, trim and doors.
Most of a painting quote is preparation, not paint. The scope is written around what the surface actually needs: scraping, skim coating, patching, priming and caulking, then the coats and sheens specified for each room.

Two Sectors
Who We Build For
Residential and Commercial Work
Ari works on both sectors, and they are estimated differently. Residential projects turn on occupancy and building rules; commercial projects turn on trading hours, landlord approvals and phasing.
Residential
Homes, Apartments and Brownstones
Residential work covers apartments, brownstones, townhouses, single-family homes and multi-family buildings, including projects run while people are still living there.
Commercial
Offices, Retail and Restaurants
Commercial work covers offices, retail units, restaurants, commercial interiors and property improvements, phased so a business can keep trading wherever the scope allows.

Seven Reasons
Why Ari
Why Property Owners Choose Ari
Property owners hire Ari for the coordination, not just the trade work. One contractor writes the scope, holds the schedule and answers for the result.
Documented Credentials
The license and the certificate of insurance are both produced before work starts, not promised afterwards.
Multiple Trades, One Contractor
Every trade runs under a single contract, so nothing waits on a sub you have to chase down yourself.
Small Jobs and Large Projects
A three-room apartment and a retail fit-out get the same estimating process, adjusted for occupancy and trading hours.
Clear Estimates
Every estimate lists included work, excluded work, material allowances and how changes are priced, so you can compare quotes line for line.
Project Coordination
Ari sequences trades, deliveries and inspections, and tells you which days are noisy, dusty or need access to your unit.
Quality Materials
Specified products are named in the estimate: board type, primer, paint line and sheen, fixture model. Substitutions get your approval first.
Professional Site Management
Floors and finishes get protected, dust is contained, and the site is cleaned at the end of each working day.
Get it scoped properly
Send photos and a short description. Ari will tell you what the job actually involves before anyone quotes a number.
06 / Working With Ari
Seven Reasons
Why Ari
Why Property Owners Choose Ari
Ari Painting & Construction Corp. holds an active New York City Home Improvement Contractor license, number 2131556-DCWP, issued by the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection.
A license is checkable, and it should be checked. Look up the number in the city’s registry before you sign anything, with Ari or with anyone else. Ari also provides a certificate of insurance naming the property or managing agent when a building requires one.
What this license covers, and what it does not. Home Improvement Contractor is the credential the city actually issues; “construction company” and “general contractor” describe what Ari does commercially, not a license title. An HIC registration is not an architect’s or engineer’s stamp and not a plumbing or electrical license. Where a project needs filed drawings or licensed trade work, Ari brings in the registered professional or licensed trade and coordinates them. Any contractor who tells you one license covers everything is telling you something that is not true.
